In addition to serving on several small business advisory boards, I have served on the Boards of the South Florida Chapter of Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO), the University of Florida MBA Advisory Board, the University School of Nova Southeastern University (NSU), and the Young Entrepreneur’s Council for the Wayne Huizenga School of Business & Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. I am currently serving as the Chairman of Mind Rocket, LLC after helping found the company in 2014 and working as the CEO for its first year and a half – a product design and innovation firm based in Colorado Springs, CO. I am also serving as a Board Member for both Contract Logix – a contract management software company based in Lowell, MA and IntelliSoft Group – a medical credentialing software business based in Nashua, NH. I also served on the Boards of Hostopia – a $100M web service provider out of Toronto; Anpesil, LLC – a $120M master candy distributor in the Northeast U.S.; Talagy – a $60M staffing and professional services company based in Jacksonville Florida; and Hillsboro Park Professional Center, LLC – a real estate development project responsible for the development and management of a nine-building office park, among others.
HOSTOPIA, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and Toronto, Canada 2005 – 2008
Board Member and Founding Shareholder. Hostopia (Symbol TSX:H), a leading provider of web services that enable small and medium-sized businesses to establish and maintain an Internet presence by providing a broad suite of private-label web services and email solutions. Hostopia experienced three consecutive years of top line revenue growth in excess of 20 percent. I was the only American elected to the Board (2007) of this Toronto-based, public company and was one of three Board Members including the CEO and the Chairman to participate on the Mergers & Acquisitions Committee and the Compensation Committee. In June of 2008, Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX) and Hostopia.com Inc. (TSX: H) announced that they had entered into a definitive agreement for Deluxe to acquire Hostopia. In July 2008, Deluxe closed on the acquisition in an all-cash transaction that valued Hostopia at approximately $124 million.
CITRIX SYSTEMS, INC. Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 2000 – 2002
Vice President, Worldwide Consulting Services. As part of the acquisition of Innovex Group, was responsible for defining and building a Worldwide Consulting Services organization for the company. Responsibilities included launching and staffing offices in New York, Chicago, San Mateo, London and Asia-Pacific, developing go-to-market strategies for working effectively with Citrix Sales and Channel Partners, integrating a new business practice into the Citrix environment, and developing training and methodologies for internal and external use along with Citrix products, among others. Vice President and General Manager, Vertigo Business Unit. Moved into the product development area to help provide leadership to a newly formed business unit resulting from the acquisition of ViewSoft, a Utah-based software company. Responsibilities included leading the planning, strategy, recruiting, product development, sales and marketing of products based on emerging technologies, including the Project Vertigo user interface (UI) server technology which was purchased by Citrix in mid-1999. Reported directly to the Chairman and acting CEO of the company, as well as to the President. Developed the strategy for integrating the Vertigo UI technology with Sequoia’s XML-based product suite. Resigned position with Citrix after the successful completion of a two-year earnout.
INNOVEX GROUP, INC. Miami, Florida 1996 – 2000
Founder and CEO. Formed Innovex Group on a modest investment and grew it organically into a successful technology consulting practice with numerous Fortune 1000 and emerging growth clients. Innovex Group employed nearly 100 professionals, was on pace to generate approximately $15 million in revenue, and possessed a portfolio of some of the most prominent clients in Florida including Citrix Systems, CBS SportsLine, TradeStation Group, Royal Caribbean, Precision Response Corporation, IVAX Corporation, and Burger King Corporation, prior to being acquired in 2000. Innovex ran in the black in every quarter of its existence. Responsible for all aspects of the business including business strategy, business development, delivery, recruiting, professional development and financial management. In February 2000, Innovex Group was acquired for approximately $50 million in cash by Citrix Systems, Inc (Nasdaq: CTXS) to help form Citrix Consulting Services Worldwide. Personally negotiated the entire deal without third party assistance. All Innovex Group employees were retained in the acquisition and the group is largely intact today.
CAMBRIDGE TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS, Miami, Florida 1995 – 1996
Managing Director, Southeast Region. Responsible for approximately 120 consultants as Director of web-based and client/server practice area. Managed $20 million consulting services revenue with responsibility for all aspects of business including business development strategy and execution, recruitment, and service delivery. Significant clients included Office Depot, Ryder, Burger King Corporation, Saturn Automobile, Oakwood Homes and the Florida Marlins.

Senior Manager. Ten years of increasingly responsible positions in information technology and business integration consulting. Experienced in all aspects of business and systems planning, design, development, integration and rollout.
